Hey y’all, I hope you’re slowly recovering from Essence Festival—because I know I’m still catching up on sleep! I’m sending this week’s newsletter out a little later than usual since events were still popping up even as late as last night. It feels like the whole city is easing back into normal life.

This weekend is definitely more lowkey—think art shows, neighborhood markets, R&B nights and community events. One highlight? Bastille Day Fete is back, and it's always a good time. If you're looking for something to do without being overstimulated, this is your kind of weekend.
