#TNCWeekend: 8.7-8.9☀️
From Red Dress Run events and live shows to pool parties and late-night vibes — here’s your guide to what’s happening this weekend in New Orleans!
Hey yall! We’re heading into the second weekend of August, which means two of New Orleans’ signature summer traditions are here: Dirty Linen Night and the Red Dress Run.
On Saturday, Dirty Linen Night transforms Royal Street into an evening of gallery openings, live music, artist meet-and-greets, and one of the best opportunities all year to explore the French Quarter’s art scene. The Red Dress Run also returns this weekend, bringing thousands of participants dressed in red together for one of the city’s most iconic charity events benefiting local nonprofits. Whether you’re joining in or simply enjoying the people-watching, it’s always one of the most memorable weekends of the summer.
If you’re looking beyond this weekend, we also just released the August edition of #TNCAgenda exclusively for our Quarter Club members. It includes a curated guide to everything happening this month, from concerts and festivals to networking events, happy hours, fitness classes, museum experiences, Restaurant Month specials, and plenty more. If you’re looking to make the most of August, now’s a great time to upgrade and unlock the full guide.
Now, let’s get into everything happening around the city this weekend!

Featured: Monarch Unplugged - New Thursday Series
Monarch Unplugged is launching tonight at The Monarch Hotel, and if you’re looking for a more laid-back way to spend your Thursday evening, this is one to check out.
Curated by LIVEWELL SAM and kicking off with PRO$PER JONE$, this new weekly series is built around intentional music, good conversation, and slowing things down. Expect vinyl listening sessions, unplugged DJ sets, soul, R&B, jazz, live recordings, and the kind of atmosphere where you can actually hear the music and enjoy the company.
If you’re looking for lounge vibes, great cocktails, and a new Thursday night tradition, add this one to your list. The series continues every Thursday with a rotating lineup of DJs over the next few months.
